Glenhouses Self Catering ChaletsWelcome to The Glen Houses Self Catering Holiday Accommodation on the edge of Dervaig, in the north of the beautiful Isle of Mull. The Glen Houses are a group of houses/ chalets/cottages which have undergone extensive work under the current owner and are ready for your holiday experience. Everything you need for a totally relaxing holiday is provided from the basics to tide you over until you visit the local shop, to brochures of local attractions to browse while you drink your tea and look at the wonderful views!

The Glen Houses are a group of 9 triangular shaped holiday houses on the outskirts of the village of Dervaig in north Mull. The site is 2.5 acres in size with a mixed terrain of woodland, grass and herbaceous areas. There is a small stream near the entrance and wild life especially birds are abundant. Deer can be seen in the glen and visit the site and Eagles fly overhead. The ethos of the site is to keep things as natural as possible. This includes organic gardening on the site, and recycling bins for all your various refuse. During refurbishment anything that can be reused is kept.

Glen Houses entranceIt is also a low technology site so that you will experience Mull’s tranquillity without the blare of TV. As a concession to the fact that it does periodically rain here and that you may want to stay in, there is a TV for playing DVDs in each chalet and a games room in Chalet 3 with table football, darts, and many books and games! Wi Fi is available onsite, with the main hub in Chalet 3 as reception  in the chalets is variable due to their construction. The main mobile provider in Dervaig is Vodafone with other networks being sporadic or non existent here!
